All the Tom Brady hype is nauseating enough, that it is almost sickening. [smiley=dizzy2.gif] He is very good, in fact great to some extent, but he is not a god.
He has had the benefit of having the most complex-minded and brilliant coach in the league over the last several years, being part of the most unifed team in the league, with the most devasting defensive lineup in the league. There are probably 5 to 8 quarterbacks in the league who could have done all the same things he has done in the last 4 years, or more, with the same team. This year it is great to see him exposed somewhat with a less stable defensive corps, and two of the other brilliant masterminds behind Bellichuk departing. There will be no Super Bowl this year for New England, they will get to the playoffs, and likely lose in the 1st round, and this sickening Brady hype can dye down for a bit finally. ;D

I've always believed that, without great talents in the team, he is not the best QB out there. peyton manning is just as good, if not better, than brady is.

QBs get much of the blame when their team loses. They also get the accolades when they win, and Brady's been winning a ton. I think he has accomplished more than Montana at the same point in career.

As for the sickening hero worship that goes on for these guys ... I'm with ya kittens. I mean, the guy flings a ball for crying out loud! ::)

I agree wholeheartedly. It would be nice to see the Indianapolis Colts win the Super Bowl this year, and Peyton get the respect he has long had overdue.

Exactly, I mean they do an extraordinary job of it of course, but that is still all they are doing, throwing a ball around. ;D

I hope he loses.

I hope they all lose because I'm a mean cantankerous old fart.
