"'C'mon 'Genie. You already guessed 3 and 5 One more try".

Welcome to Second Monday at TAT's 7th Annual Wimbledon Men's Suicide Pool. Many people call today the single biggest day on the annual tennis calendar, as its the Round of 16, and everybody plays today.

If you have made it this far, congratulations. There are only 66 players remaining from our initial total of 388. That means you have allready done better than 80% of our players. But there remain 4 picks to go, and you have to wonder at this poit if you saved the players you will need to cross the finish line.

You will continue making one pick EACH DAY of the Men’s event (NOT one each round), and once you use a player, you can never use him again. There IS a “picks and results thread” posted so you can check the choices you have made and not duplicate them accidently. This becomes more important with each pick.

Today's matches include all 8 fourth round matches of the Men's Draw.

Post your Day 8 pick by replying IN THIS THREAD. Your pick must be in before the start of play for the day in London, rain or shine, that is, Monday, June 27th at 12:00 PM London time. For those in the US, London is five (5) hours later than the east coast (ergo, 7:00 a.m.), and eight (8) hours later than the West coast (4:00 a.m.). Don’t be late as we hate making those hard decisions, but we will. The thread will be locked at the deadline, so don't wait until the final minutes. If it's locked, you are out.

You might want to scout your player and make sure there is not a known injury or illness issue.

If you change your mind after you make your pick, and before the deadline, please make a second post advising us of your change - PLEASE DO NOT make your change in your original post, as we often go through the posts before closing to begin the task of updating the picks and results, and we might miss a change if you edit your original pick.

Good luck!

Monday’s schedule of play is the entire fourth round:

Rafael Nadal ESP (1) v Juan Martin Del Potro ARG (24)
Mardy Fish USA (10) v Tomas Berdych CZE (6)
Andy Murray GBR (4) v Richard Gasquet FRA (17)
Lukasz Kubot POL v Feliciano Lopez ESP

David Ferrer ESP (7) v Jo-Wilfried Tsonga FRA (12)
Mikhail Youzhny RUS (18) v Roger Federer SUI (3)
Bernard Tomic AUS v Xavier Malisse BEL
Michael Llodra FRA (19) v Novak Djokovic SRB (2)

Well, it's been a long time since I got this far. And at this point, you kind of have to think ahead. So my Day Seven pick on the Men's Side will be...

FELICIANO LOPEZ!

Berdych for me.

The American in me wants Fish to be around a little longer, but logic tells me that this is the better pick.

Happy to be in week 2!

Hmmm, I have until play starts to change... hmmmmmm.

I don't want to do this, but I'm picking Tsonga.

I picked Ferrer, Berdych and Lopez already. I really want to pick one of the big 4 for day 7 play, but I know I won't have a pick left to determine who wins the final. I would, it just may not be who I want to win or who I think can win.

I nearly made a mistake I read about ... cogitated on this pick for so long (even asked a non-suicide pool player his thoughts) and nearly went to bed without actually picking.

Feliciano Lopez (I'd feel better about this pick if there wasn't such a bandwagon ... part of me wants to back Berdych and root for a crash. I just hope we see the Roddick-beater Lopez and not the first-set-against-Schuettler Lopez. BTW, does anybody else think Cliff Drysdale thinks his legal name is "Rainer Schuettler, the German"? Seriously.)

Yes, I'm tired and slap-happy. Long weekend.

I'm having a tough time making a pick today, do you commit to a plan or do you take on more risk now and defer the tough choices until later. I think the former is the better play and with that in mind, I'm going to really gamble and take the 6 time champ...
