Atlanta is complete and so, therefore, is week one of The Hard Road to New York - 2010 Edition. The scores are all - as predicted - incredibly tight (only 9 points separate 5th and 17th place!) but a clear-cut weekly winner has emerged: mysterX, who was the only predictor with all four Atlanta semifinalists! MysterX has opened up an impressive lead with 211 points on the week. Congratulations are also in order for garp6 who came in second with 198 and lukeorion , Omegadoom and Miles who all tied for third with 193.

Novak Djokovic and Robin Soderling seem to have incurred the wrath of many of our players by their withdrawals from upcoming tournaments. Good luck to our players with their trades (and good luck to Novak and Robin that they don't end up in the same room with any of us). It goes without saying - but it's anybody's game.

Any moment now I'll look brilliant when Roddick gets injured or voluntarily chooses to go on a clam period or something. Last minute "*** it, Melanie South" style team building will vindicate me... eventually. One of these contests surely will...

Moose is our big winner in week 2, continuing the theme of only one player holding all 4 semifinalists in a given week. Moose's savvy inclusion of Feliciano Lopez propels him to a weekly win with 183 points. Not too far behind are patrick and waylandboy-tw with 173 points each, both trading for the mercurial Marcos Baghdatis.

It's no real surprise then that our leaders after week two are, in fact, the same three people - but not in the same order. Patrick takes the lead with 361, Moose is 5 points back with 356 and waylandboy-tw is 3 back from him with 353.

A slightly bigger tournament awaits us this week in Washington. Good luck everyone and remember to be mindful of trade deadlines. Cincinatti and New Haven now both seem to be promoting Sunday starts. ;)

Marcos Baghdatis continues to shape our standings as those who traded in Marcos last week got a lot of belated success from him this week. Our winner for week 3 is...waylandboy-tw who had 4 quarterfinalists on his team and finished with 117 points. Martini4Me comes in 2nd, close behind with 113, while patrick is also close with 110 points at third place.

Patrick's score is good enough to maintain his overall lead in the contest at 471 points. But it's very close at the top with waylandboy-tw 1 point off the lead with 470. Martini4Me occupies third place with 457 points.

The first Masters 1000 event of THRNY is next week and offers all us the chance to make up some major ground or perhaps extend a lead. Trade wisely, everyone, and good luck! :D

I figured I was so far out of it that there would be no point in trying to do something different. So I traded in Nadal and said to myself, "Screw it."

Some impressive scores in Montreal shake up our standings quite a bit. ponchi101 had Federer, Murray and Berdych on his team but the fine performance of Phillip Kohlschreiber propels him to the weekly victory with 251 points. Also benefiting from having Montreal finalists on their team are our 2nd and 3rd place performers, Omegadoom and Fiercehart with 244 and 235 points respectively.

Another fine performance was turned in by the team belonging to Martini4me, who has catapulted from third to first place in the standings with 669 points. Miles jumps into second place with 654 points and Omegadoom leaps more than 10 spots into third place with 641 points.

Another big Masters level event coming up in Cincinatti. This week showed us that the game is very far from decided. Stay tuned - Good luck!

This week was marked by the resurgence of both Roger Federer and patrick, our early leader who fell out of the top 3 last week. His team amazingly included all 4 semifinalists in Cincinatti and he easily gets a weekly victory with what will certainly be the highest one-week total of THRNY - 324 points. Ponchi101, no stranger to the top 3, comes in second with an also-phenomenal 298 points. Martini4Me is in third with an also-also-phenomenal 275 points.

Going into the final tournament of the contest, patrick's team's performance puts him back into the overall lead with 960 points. Martini4me is still within gold-medal striking distance at 944 points and third place is occupied still by Omegadoom, who also had a strong week, at 891 points.

With late withdrawals and the possibility of upsets and other funkiness the week before a grand slam and with many players still conceivably in contention for a medal, anything could happen in New Haven. Good luck to our players!

An incredibly low-scoring final week on the contest still managed to produce some dramatic and exciting changes to the standings at the top of the leaderboard. Our weekly winner Martini4Me's team once again turned in a top performance, managing to get 52 points for the weekly win.Ponchi101 and oploskoffie tied for second, right behind with 49 points.

In our final standings (drum roll please...) Martini4Me's consistently excellent week-to-week performance secures him with the gold medal at 996 total points. Patrick also played a great contest and is rewarded with a silver medal with 986 points. And the week's big move was made by ponchi101, in fifth place last week, whose last-minute trade-in of Bellucci may have only netted 2 points, but was enough to secure the bronze medal by just one point. Ponchi's 911 points just beat out Omegadoom's 910 in a photo finish.

Congratulations to our medalists and thanks everyone for taking part. It was fun and we hope you play again next year!

And everyone thank Jessie and Togtdyalttai who also kept this thing going every week
