New Bands

I like to take it upon myself to spread new music to my friends. ;D Are you guys lucky or WHAT?!

I'm currently recommending 2 bands:

Mae - It's really hard to describe their sound. They're kind of punk-ish but.. something about them just makes me happy. Not too whiny, not too hard. Just perfect.

The Killers - Neo-Brit Rock. I think they're finally getting some airplay so keep an ear out.

And I always, always, always recommend The Postal Service as they're one of my favorite bands in the past few years. Easy going techno type stuff.

Bastien.. you crack me up. ;) You should check out a program called Rhapsody

It's 10 bucks a month, and it's a program that has access to a lot of music. Not all of it, but a lot of it. I've had it for well over a year now and would be absolutely lost without it since I've also stopped 99% of my downloading. Check it out.

And Bets, when I wrote that thread I was thinking, "I bet Bets has heard of The Killers already." I was right. Yay me! ;D
