Hello, and welcome to Day 9 of the Women's Sony Ericsson at Miami Suicide Pool.

Your Day 9 Women's choice is from the 2 quarter final matches from the BOTTOM HALF of the Womens draw. As always, you will be making one pick each day, and once you use a player, you cannot use them again for the remainder of the tournament.

Post your Day 9 Womens selection by responding in this thread. Since the Miami game is a "practice" pool, we will not keep a formal Picks and Results thread, so it is your responsibility to self-score your way through the tournament. We encourage you to do this by listing all your previous picks in your post for each day (simply cut and paste from the day before), as this has proven the best way to track your picks from our experience. Sort of like this:

Day 1: Kimberly Drummond
Day 2: Sigourney 'Sissy' Davis
Day 3: Stephanie Tanner
Day 4: Judy Winslow
Day 5: Topanga Lawrence
Day 6: Julie Cooper
Day 7: Susan Bradford
Day 8: Darlene Merriman
Day 9: Brenda Walsh

Your Day 9 Womens Pick is due no later than 11:00 a.m. (Eastern) on Wednesday, March 31 - that is 3: 00 p.m. Grenwich Mean Time, 8:00 a.m. West Coast time.
Good luck, and thanks for joining us!

1. Molik
2. Oudin
3. A. Radwanska
4. Clijsters
5. Bartoli
6. Zvonareva
7. Wickmayer
8. Williams

I think if I picked Stosur I would have the best chance to beat the draw, but she would have to beat Kim. I pick Henin and she wins, then I think I am out of picks. Tough.

9. Henin

Looks like Elisat and MWoods are the only two that can beat the draw. Will be fun to watch how things unfold.

I can still make two picks. And since I'm out for beating the draw, I am changing my strategy, and picking who I want, rather than who I expect to win:

Day 1: Lucie Safarova
Day 2: Gorgeous Julia Goerges
Day 3: Ana Ivanovic
Day 4: Shahar Peer
Day 5: Marion Bartoli
Day 6: Viktoria Azarenka
Day 7: Agnieszka Radwanska
Day 8: Venus Williams

Day 9: Caroline Wozniacki

Interesting. You could win today if both Belgians lose.

That's not what I want to see happen, Manolo! I want Clijsters to win this thing, and get herself positioned to be back in the Top 8 before the French.

But if I play this right, I think the semifinal will have me as the only person with Kim left, against you and shtexas who would only have Caro.
