*Roland Garros 2004 : Fabrice Santoro beats Arnaud Clément in 5 sets : 4-6 3-6 7-6 6-3 16-14 in 6 hours and 33 minutes.
*The longest match ever played, before these two, was a 2-setter (believe it or not). Â*Vickie Nelson Dunbar and Jean Hepner, both Americans, played each other in the 80ies in Virginia. Â*Dunbar won with 6-4 7-6 but the highlight ([smiley=nutso.gif]) of that match was a rally that lasted for 29 minutes (643 hits were counted).
