Is a player on your team winning too much?

Did you pick an injured player who suddenly became UNinjured out of nowhere?

Whatever your frustration with The Biggest Losers, THIS is the place to talk about it!

This contest is open for business! Check it out! It's VERY different. :)

So that's what's wrong with you !!! You are picking losers. Are you sure it's only the men ? becaus eteh girls look really cooperative today, no ?

Dry do you think if I always lose at FT I might win at UFT ? (Unfantasy Tennis) I'm a bit sceptic. I'm afraid the same will win.

But I can't lose without trying right ?

It's worth a shot! I expect to do just as badly as well! :)

I think my fantasy days are behind me, but this is pretty cool.

It's win win sort of..if you do badly here you can just brag about how good you are at actually picking winners?

So the middle two weeks of this contest are going to largely be two weeks off aren't they? I intend to have just one player over the two weeks (my lowest ranked D guy at that) and I can see a lot of people with no one going!

Crikey, I didn't even bother to check who was playing where...blush

Oops, I didn't make it in time! Well, I trust my losers would have been champions anyways. :cheesy:

When I saw Benneteau's draw I wanted to take him out. Oh well, hopefully he doesn't go too deep. Vassallo Arguello was thankfully unable to slip by future top tenner Gruel!

This contest is going to badly hurt my karma. Not that I want a player to lose to my pick but a player to lose. Full stop.

My apologies Gonzo.

Dang it...Ljubicic made it in from the ALT list for next week! And won today too! And faces some guy I've never heard of next.

My picks are 4-1 so far...I'm lucky to get that in a regular contest!

Well, they don't feel as bad as the Cilic pickers now I'm sure! I didn't take him because he should be #2 at Moscow...might grab him after though!

ptmcmahon
10-10-2009, 01:07 PM
Also two of my picks play each other R1 (Benneteau and Ljubcic) - regular contests I'd hate this, but not sure how to think about it here - guaranteed a winner and a loser, but they could both be losers if not paying each other...hmmmmm.

I'm getting more points now than I do in regular fantasy tennis.

That's just not fair. Cilic, Delpo, Roddick, Verdasco ... all fall in early rounds to screw my BoTB BUT Felithiano decides out of the blue to win two matches in a row.

I know:mad: and it is not just him. The three Tommys on my team decided to win as well. since when do players on my fantasy team do things like "fighting back from one set down" or "fighting off match points"?? Usually, they crumble at the very first sign of pressure. Of course it had to be different this time around. Thanks for nothing.

Lopez...AND Ljubcic! Argh! Good thing they're not on opposite halves of the draws.

4 of the 8 quarterfinalists. Better than I would have done if we were trying to get winners. Oh yeah, and all from different quarters too, so I still could get each semifinalist.

Great. The guy I traded in (Nadal) did better than the guy I traded out (Djokovic). I thought for sure either Monfils or Tsonga would take out Nadal.

How many retirements went in Rafa's favor this week? Three?

Vassalo Arguello was my only! This contest is perfect for him. How does he rank in the top 50 if he never wins a match?

None next week too - but does anyone? Could we have a week of all zeroes?

Thank you Arnaud Clement! Felithiano has been winning far too much during this contest, but I couldn't dump him on trades 2or 3 because of my poorly thought-out point total.

Over half my points came in Shanghai!

Lopez (55) and Ljubcic (49) both really let me down. Of the people who did actually play, Vasallo Arguello was awesome for this contest - his scores were 2-3-1-2.
