Welcome to The Biggest Losers!

You are invited to participate in an innovative experiment in TAT Anti-Fantasy Tennis: The Biggest Losers! It will encompass eight (8) ATP tournaments leading up to, but not including, the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Synopsis

Please make sure you read the rules for this contest, presented below, in their entirety. However, here's a quick synopsis of the most important contest components:

1) The lowest score wins.
2) Your team must consist of 12 players, three from each of four categories, from the top 50 players in the ATP.
3) At all times, you must have spent AT LEAST 170 credits on your team.
4) You are allowed up to three trades.
5) Given that this contest is experimental, medals will NOT be awarded So let's just have some fun with it!

Scoring

In normal fantasy tennis, you want to earn points. In anti-fantasy tennis, you do NOT want to earn points. That's the purpose of this contest--to accumulate as few points as possible. In other words, the lowest score wins. You want to put players on your team who either will not play or will lose as early as possible.

Teams

Your team must consist of 12 ATP players from the top 50 men on the ATP Tour. You must spend at least 170 credits on your 12-man team. The current top 50 players on the ATP Tour are divided into four (4) categories. Each player is priced according to his ranking. You must purchase three players from each category.

Categories and Player Pricing

CATEGORY A: Players ranked #1-8
CATEGORY B: Players ranked #9-20
CATEGORY C: Players ranked #21-35
CATEGORY D: Players ranked #36-50

Remember: YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE THREE (3) PLAYERS PER CATEGORY ON YOUR TEAM, AND YOU CAN NEVER HAVE SPENT LESS THAN 170 CREDITS.

You are responsible for finding out who will, or will not, be playing each event. The team you have at the start of each torunament is the team you're playing with.

Trades

If you feel that any player on your team is winning too much, you are allowed to trade him for someone else who you feel is more like to lose or is likely to withdraw due to injury--and help you WIN!

You are allowed up to THREE (3) trades during the eight-tournament contest. Trades must be made during the week BEFORE the tournament starts. If your trades are not submitted by the tournament's trade deadline, that trade will not go into effect until the following week.

To make a trade, please click here (http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15441). Please post your team with the new player(s) included.
