If there's already a thread feel free to delete this one.

The Baby Bulls beat Boston in Boston in o/t. Joachim Noah and the baby bulls took names.

I'm a native New Yorker so I'm disinclined to root for Boston but I do root for Kevin Garnett who is out.

That was a great game 105-103 with Garnett on the bench.

Noah got bailed out when Pierce missed that 2nd FT at the end of regulation but the star of the game was Derrick Rose with 36 pts(12/19 FG, 12/12 FT) and 11 assists

Oh absolutely. That foul by Noah was awful but Pierce's miss was really the coup de grace.

Another great game between these two going on now. Both teams have had a couple leads in the last minute and now we're tied!

The Baby Bulls may not win this series but Boston knows it's in a fight. Great double OT win by Chicago.

This sucks. Why did Rivers pull Big Baby for Tony Allen? And how is Brad Miller killing us!!!!!!!!?

No Big Baby!! great game -- too bad Doc felt he had to go with Tony Allen at the end of regulation. That sucked

Game 7. No matter what happens in that game the Baby Bulls have won this series.

Boston lost that game in regulation where he tried to play defense by having Tony Allen in the game but as the Celts were on offense, Tony was stuck with the ball and had to shoot before the clock expired.

Also, for all the talk about Rose and Gordon, Miller and Salmons have been the quiet assassins for the Bulls.

Yup. Doc has to take the rap. the Allen for Davis substitution was a gift to them. As was Paul Pierce giving the ball to Joakim Rodman. Miller and Salmons were phenomenal. Props to Rose, too. He made a great defensive play to end that game. we needed Eddie House to step back behind the line on his last jumper.

They should be a force in the coming years.

Andy Roddick tweeted throughout the game. His dog snored all the way through it and he wanted a fourth OT. Doesn't say who he's for though.

Yeah. That nonsense by Rose of missing the layup and taking the foul was just...stupid. Youthful mistake. If they keep that team intact they're going to be awesome. Wonder if Yannick will show up in Boston?

I haven't watched much, but sounds like the best 5 games of the playoffs so far have all been in this series. I'll have to try to watch game 7.

Game 7 scares me. All their young legs and we don't have much depth without KG and Powe.

Game 7 is going to be intense!! It's great to have some real excitement in the first round of the playoffs....

As a MAGIC fan, here's hoping that Game 7 goes into even more OT's

I'm much more of a hockey fan. I'll live and die with the Bruins. But this series has me watching hoops again.

OH, don't worry. Chicago will lose the 7th game. We're used to post-Jordan these things happening.

Well, for viewing purposes no. For reality - well, are either of these teams going to have a lot left for next round?

Per article on si:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/basketball/nba/05/01/game.6.ratings.ap/index.html

"The triple-overtime thriller between the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics is the most-watched first-round game on cable TV.

TNT says the Bulls' 128-127 victory Thursday in Game 6 was seen by 5.35 million viewers. The previous record was 4.97 million for Game 6 of the Suns-Lakers series in 2006, a 126-118 overtime win by Phoenix."

Tough game. Neither team played its best. The Celtics poor free throw shooting helped keep it close. The Celts were lucky that Chicago missed opportunities to tie or come within one.
I give the most credit to Eddie House. He was outstanding!

I think the Celts have a shot against Orlando. But whoever wins that series has no shot vs King James

Boston rallied from 28 to reduce the deficit to 4 with 35 seconds to go but ran out of steam. Allen 2/12 from the floor.

Cleveland dodges a 0-2 hole as LeBron(35 in the game and 84 in the series) hit a 3 to win the game after Orlando hit a 2 with one second to go. LeBron saved face for Cleveland as they led by 23 points in the game at one time

Did they really blow a 23 point lead? That doesn't bode well.

Amazingly, I fell asleep in second half, then woke up just in time to see this shot. (Also for hockey I woke up just as overtime was starting - my internal clock was right on last night.)

Even the overtimes have been exciting. Normally I find overtime kind of a letdown after a close game (perhape due to being a hockey fan) but these ones have mostly been great.

Who saw Orlando 1 game away from the finals?

Shot 62% and won by 4 pts even with Kobe going 5/10 and going cold from the field after starting 8 for 11.
