If you still have any questions after reading the contest rules (http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13069), please feel free to ask them here! We'll answer them as quickly as possible.

Ooohhh, every tournament has the same points! This will be tricky!

I'll do horribly.

OK - I'm game ... but I expect to finish bottom tier as usual. Why? Well, partly because I probably won't use any trades. I don't like the subs feature. Never have. Just sayin'.

But thanks to the organizers for all the hard work and effort in putting this together. Good job!

Why do my players get hurt after I add them to my team? Two out with injury just hours after adding them.

(this is a rhetorical question btw)

And another is just not on the announced draw despite being in the entry list.

In the "How it works" thread, it says:

Your team must be posted by the start of play in Paris, which begins February 9, 2009. No late entrants will be accepted.

Main draw play in Pattaya also starts on Monday (according to its website), and since Pattaya is ahead of Paris time wise, shouldn't the deadline be the start of play in Pattaya?

Yes. Thanks. I'll fix it.

Is there a firm day/time deadline for all trades or is it by tournament? Since two tournaments start on Sunday and the other on Monday, will trades be accepted for Monday tournament up until the first match there or only until the first match on Sunday at a different tournament?

All trades will be due before the start of Sunday play (including qualifying, if applicable) for the first tournament that starts that week... So that would be start of play for Sunday's Dubai qualifying, given the timezone...

For scoring, is it the sum of the rounds or just the last one reached? For instance, if Dementieva wins tomorrow, would she get 262 (7+15+25+45+70+100) or 100?

In light of the following Shahar Peer ruling, will this factor into the fantasy tennis contest scoring?

Shahar Peer Ranking Points - The awarding of 130 ranking points to Shahar Peer – an amount equal to the points that she earned during the same week in 2008 (week of Memphis) that she was unable to defend this past week in Dubai as a result of the denial of her entry visa by UAE. Such points will remain on Ms. Peer’s ranking until such time as she has had an opportunity to earn equivalent points at the next tournament offering ranking points equal to the Dubai tournament.

I'm thinking not. But we'll get back to you with a more conclusive answer.

Thanks. This one wasn't obvious to me and I could make a case either way. I don't think it can be treated like a withdrawal since she was willing and able to play but I'm not sure if awarding points based on a 2008 tournament result is fair either for fantasy tennis. I do think many of the 20 players who kept her on the team this week would have made a substitution if they had known she'd been barred prior to the trade deadline.

This is all for fun so whatever is decided I will live with but I think it is worth some discussion.

Thank you!
