Hello and welcome to Day 5 of the Fourth Annual Men’s Suicide Pool for The Championships - Wimbledon. Congratulations on making it through two rounds!

Again, you will be making one pick EACH DAY of the Men’s event (NOT one each round), and once you use a player, you can never use him again. There is a “picks and results thread” posted so you can check the choices you (and others) have made.

It is very important you follow our posted schedule of play for the day. Today's matches include the 8 third round matches from TOP half of the Men's Draw.

Post your Day 5 pick by replying IN THIS THREAD. Your pick must be in before the start of play for the day in London, rain or shine, that is, Friday, June 27th at 12:00 PM London time. For those in the US, London is five (5) hours later than the east coast, and eight (8) hours on the West coast. Don’t be late as we hate making those hard decisions, but we will. The thread will be locked at the deadline, so don't wait until the final minutes.

If you change your mind after you make your pick, and before the deadline, please make a second post advising us of your change - PLEASE DO NOT make your change in your original post, as we often go through the posts before closing to begin the task of updating the picks and results, and we might miss a change if you edit your original pick.

Note: If your Thursday choice did not finish, you still must make a pick for Friday.

If anyone remembers, the rain did make a mess last year. Half of the men's 4th round ended up on the second Thursday, along with the first two quarterfinals from the other half. We forced people to make two picks that day. :shocked: But, even with the draw not merging until the semis, we had 7, I believe, who beat the draw.

Ok, I have checked the weather patterns and I do not believe they will be an issue.

I wanted to choose Wawrinka but his history here does not give me confidence to trust him on grass...plus, the German may be inspired by the German Soccer/Euro Cup 2008 Final vs. Spain and by that same token, Feli may also be inspired by the success of Team Espana. Also, Rafa said Feli's game "should" translate well on grass. However, I am just not sure how deep this will carry him, so perhaps this is as far as it goes? My pick:
