Hello, and welcome to Day 10 of the Men's Sony Ericsson/Miami Suicide Pool.

Your Day 10 Men's choice is from the Men's semifinals.

As always, you will be making one pick each day, and once you use a player, you cannot use them again for the remainder of the tournament.

Post your Day 10 Men's selection by responding in this thread. Since the SE/Miami is a "practice" pool, we will not keep a formal Picks and Results thread, so it is your responsibility to self-score your way through the tournament. We encourage you to do this by listing all your previous picks in your post for each day (simply cut and paste from the day before), as this has proven the best way to track your picks from our experience.

Your Day 10 Men's Pick is due no later than 12:00 noon (ET) on Friday, April 4 - that is 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time, 4:00 P.M. Greenwich Mean Time.

Good luck, and thanks for joining us!

Day 10 Matches:

(6) RODDICK, Andy USA v (4) DAVYDENKO, Nikolay RUS
(10) BERDYCH, Tomas CZE v (2) NADAL, Rafael ESP

Did it feel like practice, Fed? I mean, this one was really difficult. So yes, it will end in a draw, but congrats to both. This one was murder.

Staff: how about a little reward for the guys? A medal? I mean, it can be virtual, you know...

That would be nice, but I'm so proud of my one lonely medal. When I get another one, i want to have earned it in the usual way.

It's funny, because my strategy for this pool is completely different from what I'll be doing for the French Open...maybe I should consider adopting it again.

Thanks for the kind words. But have to admit - it just didn't come across that difficult this tournament - probably because so many unpredictable folks lost early and/or things just broke right (e.g., Djoko, Murray, Nalby, Fish, etc. losing early; picking the clay court guys all at the right time - e.g., Andreev, Acasuso, Monaco, etc.; staying away from Ancic, Tsonga, Blake, Ferrer, etc.). I'm sure the French will be a lot more difficult - definitely staying away from the French guys if I can :-).
